Academic Profile

Prof. (Dr.) K. R. Chowdhary has devoted more than four decades to higher education, research, teaching, and academic leadership in Computer Science and Engineering. His professional career has included teaching, research, academic administration, curriculum development, faculty mentoring, institution building, and academic consultancy.

His work has covered a broad range of areas in Computer Science, including Artificial Intelligence, Theory of Computation, Algorithms, Natural Language Processing, Distributed Computing, Compiler Design, Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, and Computer Science Education.

His academic and research interests have continued to evolve with the development of Computer Science. In addition to the areas in which he has taught and published, his broader interests include emerging areas of Artificial Intelligence and intelligent computing, including Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing, knowledge-based systems, and related developments in Artificial Intelligence.
